SRFed Awarded Position on MDA SHIELD IDIQ

Edgewater, MD — December 3, 2025 — South River Federal Solutions LLC (SRFed), a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is pleased to announce its selection as an awardee under the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract.

The SHIELD initiative represents a critical Department of Defense enterprise designed to accelerate acquisition, integration, sustainment, and mission readiness of layered homeland defense solutions. Through the SHIELD vehicle, MDA will access a national portfolio of innovative firms capable of delivering rapid-response systems, mission engineering, cybersecurity, analytics, command and control (C2), logistics, and complex program execution support across the missile defense enterprise.

By being named to SHIELD, SRFed is now eligible to compete for future task orders that support the development, deployment, and sustainment of cutting-edge missile defense capabilities across DoD components, joint commands, and homeland security partners.

  • Participate as either a prime contractor or teaming partner on major homeland defense initiatives
  • Strengthen its presence across defense, intelligence, and national security readiness programs
